- It covers you if a mistake you make leads to a dispute with a client. If a dispute turns really nasty, Hiscox's legal team will defend the claim against you and, if you lose the case, the policy will pay any damages for which you're liable.
- The policy will reimburse you for the cost of putting a mistake right if this will avoid you getting into a dispute with a client on the first place.
- It also covers you against direct financial losses that occur as a result of the dishonesty of employees or freelancers, and if documents in your care are lost, damaged or destroyed.
What's more, we're flexible enough to realise that if you fail to meet a deadline, you may have to rectify a problem out of office hours. With most other professional indemnity policies, you can't make a move without getting express permission from the underwriter.
