The Computers policy explained...
What's special about this policy?
Computers insurance from Blyth Valley will cover your computers and electronic business equipment against events such as theft, fire, water damage from burst pipes, and malicious damage, whether you work in an office or from home.
The insurance protects equipment you own and for which you are responsible (if you're hiring or borrowing it for example), and includes:
- PCs
- servers
- VDUs
- monitors
- keyboards
- printers
- software
- television and video equipment
- photographic equipment
- photocopying equipment
- surveying equipment
- telecommunications equipment
In addition to being protected at your place of work, the policy covers your computer equipment (for a percentage of its full value) whilst it's temporarily away from your usual business location, for example if you're working at a client's site within the UK.
The cover is subject to an excess of £250 which means that you will pay the first £250 of any loss or damage.
