Contract Works and Plant Insurance

Contract works and plant insurance covers you for loss of, or damage to:

  1. contract works and materials
  2. plant, machinery and site huts
  3. hired-in plant

The insurance is valid whilst your contract works or plant is:

  1. on the contract site
  2. in transit to or from the contract site
  3. temporarily stored elsewhere

Plant is also covered at your premises if it’s in a securely locked compound or elsewhere undergoing maintenance or repair.

Our contract works and plant cover is available up to £250,000 for contract works; up to £25,000 for your own plant; and for hired-in plant up to £50,000. You will need to pay an excess of £500 on claims for theft and malicious damage and the first £250 of all other claims.

You can buy contract works and plant cover from Blyth Valley alongside public liability insurance. Let us know and we’ll arrange a bespoke quotation for you.
