The Complementary Medicine policy explained...
What’s special about this policy?
Our policy works for you in five ways:
- It will cover you for the costs of defending a claim against you.
- It will pay for any damages that may be awarded against you as a result of malpractice, breach of confidentiality or public liability claims.
- Working with your insurers we’ll act proactively to prevent time-consuming litigation and minimize any costs you may be liable to pay.
- If a legitimate claim can be avoided by your rectifying your mistake this policy will cover the costs of doing so.
- Our cover is very broad in scope and includes mental injury, illness, disease and death and also covers you for liability resulting from good Samaritan acts.
Our Complementary Medicine policy is currently only available offline.

What’s at stake?
As a professional practitioner, you have a duty of care to your clients.
Breaching that duty in some way (known as negligence) means that you could be liable if a claim was made against you.
Even if the claim was unjustified you would still need to defend yourself (and your reputation), or find yourself liable by default, and potentially claims made on your assets.
